About TriciaTricia F. OwensI am a therapist who works with individuals and couples who are looking for change in some area of their life. Some people reach out because life feels stressful, confusing, or unbearable. Others may be in crisis or simply looking to understand themselves better. Sometimes there’s a clear path forward; other times it’s more complex. My work focuses on helping people understand their emotions, behaviors, and thoughts, while guiding them toward their personal goals.
I also bring a background as a registered nurse into my work, which shapes my understanding of the way emotions impact our physical health, as well as how physical health impacts our emotions. I take a collaborative, practical approach to therapy. We pay attention to emotions without letting them run the show, look at patterns without blame, and work toward changes that feel possible and sustainable—not forced. People often tell me they appreciate that our work feels grounded, honest, and human. There’s room for seriousness here, and also room for lightness. We can hold hard things without making them heavier than they already are. My goal is to offer professional support that helps you feel more steady, more aware, and more able to respond to life in ways that align with who you are. |
